Our Vines

The Red Wines
The red wine is produced from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, well known for single-varietal vinification or crafted using the classic Bordeaux blend.
The White Wines

Among the white wines, Riesling Renano and Riesling Italico are grown, producing a fresh, floral, and aromatic wine that undergoes long bottle aging and is certainly not a simple vintage white. Another white variety is Chardonnay, which is suitable for both still and sparkling vinification. Additionally, the whites include PIWI varieties (an acronym of pilzwiderstandsfähig, meaning "fungus-resistant vines"), Solaris and Souvignier Gris. PIWI varieties are still not widely known but perfectly embody our philosophy of producing wines with minimal phytosanitary intervention while offering a distinctive and surprising bouquet.
They are vinified as single varieties to enhance their character. Their particular strength lies in requiring minimal treatments, achieved by crossing plants that preserve organoleptic qualities, following a shared commitment to organic principles, and developing lasting resistance to fungal diseases.
In particular, Solaris is considered a perfect and highly resilient vine, producing intense, fresh, and aromatic white wines.
Souvignier Gris, on the other hand, yields long, persistent wines with pronounced acidity.
We are awaiting the inclusion of these grape varieties in our province for IGT and DOC wine production. As of today, due to administrative restrictions, we can only produce the wines without specifying the designation. Nevertheless, we firmly believe that cultivating PIWI varieties is undoubtedly a mark of quality and reflects an ever-growing commitment to environmental care.
